Good news — Turkish cotton is one of the most forgiving fabrics you'll ever own. We've been using our own pieces for years and they just keep getting better.
The basics — works for everything: Machine wash at 30–40°C. Tumble dry on low or line dry. That's really it.
No fabric softener — it reduces absorbency over time and your towel doesn't need it. Turkish cotton softens naturally with every wash all by itself.
First wash tip: Wash your new piece before first use. It will feel even softer and more absorbent straight away — and any excess dye will wash out cleanly.
Fringe care: Give it a gentle shake after washing to keep the fringe looking neat. That's all it needs.
Hand-painted & stone-printed pieces (Mediterranean Breeze Collection): Wash separately for the first time to be safe. After that — same as everything else.
Muslin pieces (The Waves Blanket & The Little Breeze Robe): Gentle cycle at 30°C. These get softer and more beautiful with every wash.
The honest truth: Turkish cotton is built to last. The more you use it and wash it — the better it gets. Don't overthink it. Just enjoy it.
